DK weekly - Ruleset

General rules

You must have not surpassed 4.5K MMR in the past 100 days
The official game chat is DKW ('/join DKW') on the EU server
You need a minimum of 8 games in the past 10 days
You need a minimum of 500 career games
Smurfing and sandbagging, or any other method to lower your MMR will not be tolerated
Maphacking, or using any other external code used to get an unfair advantage is not allowed

Manner Code

We will not ban people for being bad mannered, but we will take action against people sharing bad intended missinformation or unsafe content. And dont expect the casters/admins to be oblivious to your attitude.

Vetoes and Map Pool

The map pool is the official, ladder map pool:

Frostline LE
Ultralove
Amygdala
Whispers of Gold
King's CoveLE
Ley Lines
Abyssal Reef LE
Neon Violet Square LE
El Dorado

And the vetoes are: ABABAB BAC (A is higher MMR player, B is lower MMR player and C is the last map left in the pool)

Walkover and Disconects

Walkovers can be claimed after 10 minutes of waiting, starting from when the match is confirmed on challonge.

If a player pauses during a match, he can ask for 5 minutes at most (accumulated thruout the maps) and 5 minutes in between maps (5 minutes before each map).

In the case of a dissconnect, the maximum waiting time is of 5 minutes, even if there was a pause before. The dissconnected player will not be allowed to ask for a pause in the other game.

If the player reconnects there are 2 ways the game will continue:
1. If the game had under 3 minutes, it will be rehosted, from the start
2. If the game had over 3 minutes, the game will be recovered from replay, unless both players agree to restart

Format

Random seeding,

Double Elimination. The finalist from Winners Bracket gets a 1 point advantage in the Grand Finals,

Upper Bracket Matches: Bo3 (Upper Bracket finals: Bo5)

Lower bracket Matches: Bo1 (Lower Bracket finals: Bo3)

Finals are Bo5 (the format of the Finals can be changed from Bo5 to Bo3 if both players and the admins agree before the series begins).
